If I were the mangaka for this, then I wouldn't have Kaori die or maybe I could've made them kiss before she died or something like that. I just watched the live action film for this and it's pretty good. Anime and Manga are still better but they did a good job. I teared up a bit, as for the anime, I cried buckets.
