Maps+Motion (Mapping History) presents computer-animated maps digitizing the historical development of cities and rural areas. Rotterdam Museum Rotterdam's new exhibition '1000 years of Rotterdam' shows Rotterdam's growth spurts. The visitor follows the history of the town, from the settlement along the Rotte to the metropolis on the Maas. Mapping History, commissioned by the Museum Rotterdam, has made a digital historical map of the city.
