Uniqlo's new TV commercial, "Life and Wear / Coffee Shop," starring actors Haruka Ayase and Kohei Matsushita, and former table tennis player Kasumi Ishikawa, will air on September 11th. Behind-the-scenes footage and interviews were released. The commercial, featuring Uniqlo's staple "Merino Wool," marks Ishikawa's first appearance in a Uniqlo TV commercial. Ayase walks into a coffee shop and bumps into Ishikawa. They're also reading the same book, a coincidence that brings smiles to their faces. At another table, Matsushita, busy thinking at his computer, bashfully nods to Ayase. The commercial's theme song is "Love Comes Slowly, Little by Little" by Southern All Stars, released in 2019.
