PSF Saturday 04.07.2026 We opened our 2026-27 PSF campaign with a now traditional home game against Swindon Town on a hot summer afternoon. A serious head injury to keeper Luke Purnell after six-minutes caused an hour delay and he was eventually stretched off - and we were later pleased to hear from the hospital that the injury wasn't as serious as first thought and he was given the news that he had fractured mastoid so will only need to follow the concussion protocols so will follow a step-by-step process to gradually return to full participation, ensuring he is symptom-free. The visitors scored as part of the movement which caused the injury, and when play eventually re-started, two 30-minute periods were played - with Town producing a professional display to seal the game 0-4 - a repeat of the score-line of the previous season.
