VBZ CAB RIDE on line 13 from Albisgütli to Bahnhofstrasse/HB

Line 13 opened on October 1, 1930, running from Bahnhofquai to Hardturm. Starting in 1932, the line was extended to Wollishofen during peak hours, and a year later, its terminus was changed from Hardturm to Bahnhof Wipkingen/Nordbrücke. Later that same year, the line was rerouted to Albisgütli. From 1944, the line operated between Albisgütli and Wartau. In 1954, it was extended by two stops to Frankental. Due to construction work at Bahnhofquai in 2026, Line 13 will operate on a significantly shortened route starting in December 2025; it will run only from Albisgütli to Bahnhofstrasse, where the tram changes its number and continues as Line 4. The line will return to normal operation in December 2026.
