This is a track from the EP titled 'Misbah in Shimshal'. It's a part of a collaboration between RTF Studio and Willow Tree Art Residency based in Gilgit which allowed Misbah to explore Shimshal Valley and find singers in the area to create new versions of old and unrecorded Wakhi language folk songs. The vocal tracks of singers were recorded in Shimshal, the arrangement was made by Misbah Uddin in the valley and then the track was produced, mixed and mastered here at RTF Studio in Lahore. A very special thanks to Siffat Ullah for helping find these singers, bridging gaps in communication and being an inspiring & encouraging musical force. All proceeds made from this song on Bandcamp will go to the singers.
