MOST POPULAR bag of the 1900's (restoration video)

Restoration of an antique 1900's leather "Kit" bag (more commonly know today as a "Gladstone" or "Doctor's" bag) made by the famous English maker Finnigan's. Similar style of bags were produced by industry giants such as Louis Vuitton, Goyard, Moynat, Drew & Sons, Mappin & Webb etc. At its time, this was the most popular and widely used bag on the market. In this "short" video I take you through my personal restoration steps and show how the bag gradually regains it's shape, colour and mirror shine. I must preface that this video is not a tutorial! Every antique leather item has endured different pollutants and suffered various damages, thus the restoration is always personalised after an in-depth analysis of the item.
