Weekend morning begin with preparations for the overnight stay in the car. I made side dishes for dinner and prepared my luggage. I went to Onomichi for the first time in 10 years. On the sea side, there are retro shopping streets that retain the old townscape and fashionable cafes. On the mountain side, there are shrines and temples, narrow slopes, and cute cats. Walking along without a map, you will discover the charm of Onomichi. For dinner, we can enjoy the dishes I made in the morning and hot rice. With less time for cooking and cleaning up, we were able to enjoy the evening hours.
