Abandoned "Dracula’s Tower" Hotel: Climbing the Roof & Meeting a Wild Owl ​Hello everyone! The wandering and urban exploration continue. This time, I took my retro car and drove deep into the mountains to find an amazing abandoned hotel. With a GoPro strapped to my head, I went inside to explore this decaying relic. ​The main highlight of this place is a massive stone tower that rises high above the rest of the building. My ultimate goal for this trip was to sneak into this tower through the roof and brew some hot coffee on my camp burner right at the top. ​I made my way through the ruined first, second, and third floors, looking at the collapsed ceilings and burnt rooms. The attic roof was completely smashed, with heavy ceramic tiles crashing down as the wooden beams rotted away. I managed to climb out onto the roof and tried to reach the tower, but unfortunately, the interior structure had entirely collapsed. It looks like "Dracula's Tower" is officially closed and no longer accepting guests. ​I had to climb back down and look for another spot to rest. I found a quiet corner among the ruins, boiled some strong coffee on my burner, and enjoyed a strawberry jam donut. But the biggest surprise was waiting for me downstairs! As I was exploring a pitch-black room on the first floor, something huge suddenly started flying right over my head. It turned out to be a massive wild owl! It flew around the dark room for a bit and then escaped through a broken window. ​Finally, I checked out the huge abandoned cafeteria and kitchen area before heading back outside.
