(Master Duel) CAN GRINDY CONTROL STRATS COMPETE? YES! - Regenesis Bystial (September 2025)

Ever since Runick has been rendered helpless due to Maliss (banishing their monsters plusses them) and Ryzeal (Detonator can easily pop Fountain), I haven't had a proper "control advantage" deck to pilot on ladder. Can advantage control decks like Regenesis still compete in Masterduel's cutthroat meta full of combo juggernauts like Maliss and midrange monsters like Ryzeal? Definitely! Regenesis is very simple to play and it has no combos, so I'm not making a detailed strategy guide on it. Just use the 20 handtraps simplify your opponent's gamestate, then outgrind them with your relentless Regenesis deck core! This decklist features all the handtraps that hardcounter meta ladder strategies, like Artifact Lancea and Chaos Hunter (which has synergy with Regenesis since it's 2500ATK) for Maliss! Even your Regenesis monsters get sent to the graveyard during your opponent's turn, they all just return to your hand in the endphase, and their spells like "Regenesis" and "Code" can ressurect your monsters from the GY and Banishment! Not to mention that every single Regenesis monster is a massive beatstick, so you can also equalize your opponent's board in the battle phase by running everything over, especially with the 5000 ATK Regenesis Lord! Surprisingly, I've laddered way up the ranks with this deck in a Maliss and Ryzeal infested meta - it's a incredibly competent advantage control deck!
