Normalizing “Chasing” or Controlling Outcomes Out of Our Fears❤️
I really wanted to make this video to normalize and delve into the energy of "chasing" which I am now understanding is our way of trying to control outcomes that we have experiences in the past and we do not want to repeat because they are hurtful and bring out our unhelpful core beliefs and worse fears about us. It feels like we are chasing an outcome in order to protect our inner child and self from feeling that past pain again because that is imprinted in our nervous system and it literally goes into protection mode or alert mode or even worse bracing for the worse so we attach and "chase" an outcome. But the crazy part about this is, that same energy of "chasing" and attempting to control the outcome so we do not feel that pains of our past again, is the same energy that will bring on that same result we are trying to avoid in the first place! On the flip side, "runners" do the same thing. They try to avoid their outcome by running away, but in this video we will talk about the energy of "chasing" as this is the one I am familiar with due to my anxious attachment style and I have been trying to overcome my entire adulthood existence!
