We wake up and the first thing we do is check our phones, attend to pending tasks, respond to urgent calls, and carry worries that haven't even happened yet. Then we wonder why the day feels so heavy, why anxiety dominates, or why we feel that God is far away. The truth is simple and harsh: we are trying to face the day without the One who gives meaning to it. But God's promise still stands. When we seek His presence at the start of the day, He orders our thoughts, strengthens our hearts, and gives us direction. It's not the clock that changes, it's the soul. A day surrendered to God from the beginning is never a wasted day, even if it's difficult.
