BEWARE OF SOCIAL MEDIA

*The Danger of Social Media* Social media is a powerful tool that can be used either to glorify God or to promote sin. As Christians, we are called to be wise and watchful because not everything we see or hear online is beneficial to our spiritual growth. Unwholesome content, gossip, immorality, false teachings, and worldly influences can gradually weaken our relationship with God if we are not careful. Excessive use of social media can also steal the time meant for prayer, Bible study, worship, and fellowship with other believers. It may encourage pride, envy, jealousy, and the desire for human approval instead of seeking God's approval. The Bible reminds us to "guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it" (Proverbs 4:23). As followers of Christ, we should use social media to spread the Gospel, encourage others, share the truth in love, and reflect the character of Jesus Christ. Let every post, comment, and message bring glory to God. We must always remember the words of *1 Corinthians 10:31**: *"So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God."
