In this video we present the technique hanmi handachi katate-dori shihonage. We explain the principal movements and show potential mistakes in a funny way at the end. Hanmi means half-body and refers to the basic standing position in Aikido. Handachi means half-standing and indicates, that only one of the practitioners is standing. So here we have the nage sitting in seiza and than moving on his knees and toes as he does the shihonage technique. The important thing abot this technique is to keep pivoting on one single knee.
