Take a walk through Les Mystères du Nautilus (The Mysteries of the Nautilus), a recreation of Captain Nemo's submarine from the 1954 Disney film 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. 📅 This attraction originally opened on 4 July 1994, in Discoveryland at Disneyland Park. 📚 "The man who created the Nautilus over there, that was his life achievement. His name was Tom Scherman. And from 1954 until his death (in February 1995), he lived and breathed Walt Disney's dream of the Nautilus. He was ill with cancer.
