We're exploring Southern Minas Gerais in a 1991 Lada Niva. We woke up at our wild campsite next to an abandoned house on top of Pico/Pedra do Machadão, and the idea was to continue our journey along dirt roads towards Pedra Branca. However, the route we chose wasn't the most passable, which led us into the bush. To make matters worse, we took the wrong turn on a steep descent, and the car wouldn't start. We ended up having to enter a trail that looked more like a dead end. It was a tense moment, humans!
