Unfixable? Re-Necking a Boutique Electric Guitar

Being a low-numbers builder is HARD, and when something goes wrong, making up for that issue is VERY noble but also devastating to your productivity. In a previous video I did everything I could to get this Trent Model 1 in tip top playing condition, but it fought HARD. I ended up levelling and crowning and polished the frets THREE separate times before undercharging the client and sending it home. He contacted Trent and they said that they had had some issues with a set of neck blanks, and made it better by sending him and all new custom made neck with an extra fret. Today I fit and install it, and make a new nut and do my damndest to get it to play the way the owner likes. it may be back, but it's home for now.
