The vision string quartet are unafraid to venture from the conventional. This creative single explores the many versatile sounds possible for a string quartet, showing new range to these classical instruments: https://w.lnk.to/shoemakerLY “One of the reasons we chose the song 'The Shoemaker' as our first non-classical single is that it showcases many different sound effects: body percussion, bass drum on cello, vocal effects, etc," says the quartet. “We had a specific idea for the video very early on: namely, to play on 1/16 size instruments. The inspiration for this came to us at a concert where our dressing room was also used for children’s musical education, and we found small violins for kids.
