Create your different German Military figure in 1/35

You can easily transform your plastic figure to a new one by just changing parts and head. You can see here an almost straight from the box assembled 1/35 Dragon German soldier in great coat. We put a new head from Verlinden, a pack of hand grenades instead of MP 40 holding on the right hand and the MP 40 hanging over the neck using a scratch built sling from metal foil. We used only Vallejo Acrylics and the Glaze Medium a great product. Dilutes the paints without destroying the particles connection and it great to smooth the strong contrasts. The great coat was base coated with a darker mix of Field Grey 830 + Panzer Aces 333 and for highlights more 830 was gradually added. We keep the highlights low as we do not want to reach to "stony" result...the face was painted using the triades paint system of Panzer Aces: Flesh Base 341, Highlights Flesh 342 and Shadows Flesh 343. For the field grey cap German Field Grey WWII 830 and for highlights we added a little Dark Flesh 927. For the boots we used German Tank Crew Black 333 and for the highlights we added German Tank Crew II 335. The MP40 and dark metals was base coated with Black 950 and gradually highlighted with a mix of Black 950 + Oil Steel 865. The leather parts were painted with Leather Belt 312 from Panzer Aces. The whole process did not take more than 2 hours. Enjoy.
