In Kutch, two earthquake tremors were felt in a single day, just two to three minutes apart, creating panic among the people... Regarding this incident, Director of Earthquake Research Center Santosh Kumar said that no assumptions can be made about the earthquake... Earthquake tremors are felt periodically in Kutch, Saurashtra due to geological activity... He further said that generally an earthquake of magnitude 7 or more can be harmful...
