X-Ray Eyes (KISS Cover)
This is my cover of X-Ray Eyes, as performed by KISS on their 1979 album Dynasty. Not my favorite song on the album but I thought I'd give it a shot. As always, I play all the guitar and bass parts over a drum track that I produced. The song is super simple to play but the solo is a bit of a mess. I'm sure it's a studio musician who performed it on the album because the crazy tremolo bar work is very uncharacteric for KISS at point. It's also really hard to hear in parts because it's so low in the original mix but I did my best. I am NOT a professional guitar player, in fact I've never actually taken a formal lesson. I just love to play. My intention isn't artistic expression, but rather to document how I think these songs are played, both as a reference for myself and others wishing to learn. I welcome any suggestions or comments that might help me or anyone else improve their appreciation of this classic music catalog.
