We Got a Unimog Stuck in the Remote Mexican Desert

We’re deep in Mexico exploring the remote Sea of Cortez side of Baja California Sur in this off-road overlanding adventure, driving a rugged peninsula in our expedition Unimog alongside our friend Nic for a rare two Unimog convoy. This video captures everything that makes remote travel unpredictable, starting with waking up to a flat tire in the Mexican desert, followed by a failed search for ancient pictographs hidden somewhere in a wash along the trail. After not finding the pictographs and making a wrong turn on the way out, things escalate quickly when Nic sinks his Unimog deep into thick mud, leading to a full Unimog off-road recovery in a remote and isolated area. From beautiful desert driving and beach camping to real-world expedition truck recovery, this video shows what overlanding in Baja can really be like.
