Hey guys here i explore the huge "Palace" known widely as DEVILS PALACE... This huge estate gets its nick name DEVILS PALACE as the owner “Nicholas van hoogstraten” was known to not be a very nice person...(to put it nicely lol) Having a portfolio of over 2000 properties and went on record as calling all his tenants as “filth” and even going as far to describe 5 of his tenants who died in a fire in one of his properties as “scum”... Nicholas second term in prison was for manslaughter after being connected to paying two hit men to kill a businessman called Mohammed Raja.... Nicholas disposed of 90 per cent of his UK properties, making massive profits and investing in other areas including mines and farms in African countries such as Nigeria and Zimbabwe where he had bought his first property at the age of 19 when the country was Rhodesia..... A civil action by Raja's family resulted in him being ordered to pay them £6million but he swore they would never get a penny, insisting he had "no assets at all now in the UK" as they were all in the names of his five African children.... basement at one end of the property has been set aside as a mausoleum to house the remains of Van Hoogstraten..
