How to stop Herons eating your fish WITHOUT a net! 👌

Are you having problems with herons eating your beloved fishy friends? No pond should have to be covered with a net or surrounded by an electric fence. We have set this method up many a time on various customers' ponds across Sussex and in the video, we demonstrate it working on my dad's pond. This has been in place for over 15 years and he has never had a heron visit since, and best of all, his pond is net free. Simply connect the cable at least 8ft above ground so that they are not in your way. Use a cable thick enough so the heron will see it. If the birds do not see the lines they are in danger of getting caught in them. Do not use fishing line. If a heron cannot land safely it will fly somewhere else in search of its meal.
