To unlock one of the characters, you have to beat almost every Challenge Mission on your build. You can set aside five of them, but for now, I'm just prioritizing the ones that unlock stages. Mission 99 is against Reisen, Wriggle Nightbug, and Daiyousei. These girls aren't too bad, and the arena is just flat ground, so that makes this easier when compared to most other missions of this type.
