Detective Chance Cloud testified about how investigators tracked and arrested Eugene Louis-Jacques, who is accused of killing his girlfriend, Beauty Couch. Cloud said authorities used travel patterns tied to Louis-Jacques’ vehicle to locate him. After witnessing an unrelated traffic violation, the detective conducted a stop, confirmed the suspect’s identity and arrested him.
