Thousands Of Blossoms - Avarta kiirtan

"Avarta Kiirtan" is chanting of mantra performed in 6 directions and each turn signifies a special spiritual ideation: 1. (starting position) "I am the embodiment of sincerity." 2) (90 degrees clockwise from 1. ) "I have innate love for Parama Purus'a (Supreme)." 3) (180 degrees clockwise from 1. ) " I will purify my mind with fire of devotion." 4) (270 degrees clockwise from 1. ) "I am overcoming all internal and external obstacles." 5) (starting position, looking upwards) "Oh, Lord, take me onto Your lap." 6) (looking down) "I surrender my everything to You." One hot summer afternoon in 2022 I tried intentionally composing some new melodies and, surprisingly, the first 5 tunes shared here came to my mind one after another. With a bit of polishing and adding the last one on the basis of a lovely melody from China, an Avarta Kiirtan template was ready in a matter of hours. Delighted, I forwarded them to sister Liina', dear kiirtaniya on the other side of planet, in gratitude for all the lovely tunes she sometimes shares with me... and asked would she record them for me, with a guitar. After a while her response moved me deeply: "Namaskar Didi. You will be surprised to know how those kiirtans helped me these past few weeks. I was so down, I couldn't sing at all. To start my meditation, I always played your songs. They were fresh to my ears, beautiful, and sung by an angelic voice. I was happy they helped me pass my " speechless" days. I was diagnosed with chronic bronchitis. Couldn't breathe, couldn't really speak, let alone sing. Your songs arrived in time for me. Thanks Didi." She recorded all 6 of them in one blissful go and I cried listening to her angelic voice - grateful for God's ways to help us be helpful to each other even unawares - in turn... Later on, sister Liina' recorded the longer version of each tune separately, I shot videos of roses blossoming from Ba'ba's Garden in Croatia with a better camera this year and at last Vivek put it all so nicely together in Ukraine.
