Example of hot glazing a leather seam

This is an exaggerated demonstration of edge finishing with paint and a hot glazing tool. These tools are normally applied to soft leathergoods that cannot be burnished, but the technique can be used to areas where burnishing machines cannot reach. In this example, the edge was rough and irregular.
