The Catrin Maguire Case: "Vanished Without a Trace"
Today, we explore one of the most baffling and heartbreaking missing persons cases in recent years, the disappearance of 22-year-old student Catrin Maguire. In November 2021, Catrin vanished from Holyhead, Wales, leaving behind a devastated family, a shocked community, and a series of unexplained events that continue to puzzle investigators to this day. Catrin was a third-year health and social care student at Bangor University, described as happy-go-lucky, full of plans for the future, and with no known history of mental health struggles. Her disappearance was sudden, unexpected, and deeply out of character. On Monday, November 15th, 2021, Catrin bought a return train ticket from Bangor to Holyhead. CCTV captured her walking near her family home, though she did not stop in. The final confirmed sighting came at 1:18 p.m., when an eyewitness saw her walking past the RSPB South Stack café, close to the cliffs and lighthouse, a scenic but remote area popular with tourists. Then, troubling gaps emerge in the timeline. At approximately 2:12 p.m., her mobile phone was manually switched off, powered down intentionally. At 3:00 p.m., she missed an important appointment to sign the tenancy agreement for her university flat, something she had been excited about. When her friend couldn’t reach her, concern grew, and Catrin was officially reported missing the following day, November 16th. Despite extensive searches involving mountain rescue teams, drones, dogs, and dedicated volunteers, no trace of Catrin has ever been found. Her case remains unsolved, and the lack of answers continues to haunt her loved ones. This video is part of the Murder Analysed Missing Persons Christmas Appeal, a campaign dedicated to highlighting unresolved cases during a time when families everywhere feel the absence of missing loved ones most deeply. By sharing Catrin’s story, we aim to keep her memory alive and encourage anyone with information to come forward. In today’s video, “The Disappearance of Catrin Maguire: The 2021 Case That Still Has No Answers,” we’ll walk through the full timeline of her final known movements, explore the theories surrounding her disappearance, and reflect on why this case continues to puzzle investigators and her community. 📞 North Wales Police (Primary Contact) Anyone with information — no matter how small — should contact: North Wales Police Call: 101 (UK non-emergency number) If calling from outside the UK: +44 300 330 0101 Quote: Catrin Maguire missing person case You can also provide information via: Website Reporting Form: https://www.northwales.police.uk (Use the “Report” section → “Missing person” or “Give information”) 🧡 Crimestoppers (Anonymous Tip Line) For those who wish to remain completely anonymous, contact: Crimestoppers UK Phone: 0800 555 111 Online (Anonymous): https://crimestoppers-uk.org Crimestoppers does not trace calls or record personal details. 🗣️ What to Mention When Reporting To help direct your information properly, refer to: Name: Catrin Maguire Missing since: 15 November 2021 Location: Holyhead / South Stack, Anglesey Age at time of disappearance: 22 Thank you all, xx Join this channel to get access to perks: / @murderanalysed
