Darren John in New York (Part One)

This is the first video in a series which explores how Darren John began losing the respect of his viewers. Darren claims things changed when he moved to Thailand, but the demise started in the summer of 2024, when he visited New York on holiday. In what should have been a trip rich with content, he made New York look dull. His viewers noticed the laziness on his part, and they told him so in the comments. He made as little effort as possible in making his videos, and it showed. To be a bad YouTuber is not a crime, but to claim you have "vision", as Darren has done, and push out dross is wrong. Darren has a sense of entitlement, and then when people politely point out where he can do better, he hits back and deflects the blame elsewhere, incorrectly labelling people as "trolls". That's not a nice character trait, and it's certainly not the way to maintain a YouTube channel.
