Learn Finnish Verbs | 'Type 3 Minä Verbs' | Verbityyppi 3 (Part 1)

Continuing with verbs today. This is part 1 of my "Learning Finnish Type 3 Verbs" Series!😊 This video kick starts the so called 'Type 3 verbs/Verbityyppi 3' in Finnish. I will first explain what types of verbs belong to the verb type 3 category and then I will be going over the verb conjugations for when you are talking about yourself, so "Minä/Mä __(verb type 3)__". Following videos will go over the rest of the pronouns! A summary: ● Verbs belonging to verbityyppi 3 end in: -lla/-llä, -sta/-stä, -nna/-nnä, -ra/-rä ● To talk about yourself using the minä form, remove the LAST 2 letters of the verb, add -e and add the minä marker -n ● I didn't show an example in this video, but consonant gradation CAN happen.
