Theme "KNOWING GOD TRUELY" Psalm 27 1-14 By Ps LINDA HARTAWAN. Safe in God's protection PSALM 27:1 - 14 From David. The LORD is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The LORD is the fortress of my life, of whom shall I be afraid? 27:2 When evildoers attack me to eat up my flesh, all my enemies and my foes, they themselves stumble and fall. 27:3 Though an army encamps against me, my heart will not fear; though war rises against me, even in this I will be confident. 27:4 One thing I have asked of the LORD, that will I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD and to inquire in his temple. 27:5 For he will hide me in his shelter in the day of trouble; he will hide me in the secret place of his tabernacle; he will set me high above the rock. 27:6 Now therefore lift up my head above mine enemies round about me: in his tabernacle will I offer sacrifices with shouts of joy: I will sing and make melody to the LORD. 27:7 Hear, O LORD, the voice of my cry; be gracious unto me, and answer me. 27:8 My heart hath sought thy word, saying, Seek my face: thy face, O LORD, will I seek. 27:9 Hide not thy face from me, neither cast thou off thy servant in anger: thou art my help; cast me not away, nor forsake me, O God of my salvation. 27:10 Though my father and my mother forsake me, yet the LORD will take me up. 27:11 Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a level path because of mine enemies. 27:12 Give me not over to the desire of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and they that breathe out iniquity. 27:13 Surely I believe that I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. 27:14 Wait for the LORD; be strong and of good courage; wait for the LORD.
