Using Family Historian to report missing burial headstone grave marker media | Rootsmagic FindaGrave
A basic introduction to the power of the Family Historian Query Builder, with comparisons to the latest RootsMagic version 9.0.3. Reporting data from within your project is very important. Finding those elusive things like missing parents, duplicate facts and in this video missing media from grave markers. Such report are very valuable to genealogists and family researchers as they build quality databases. In this video I demonstrate querying my data making Family Historian prompt me for a partial the cemetery name. Family Historian then reports known burials without a headstone marker allowing me to follow up with a cemetery visit, a very useful report. I demonstrate saving the report to Dropbox so I can access it via my cell phone whilst walking the cemetery, I can head off to the cemetery with that list on my cell (mobile) phone and work through collecting any media including plots with no grave marker, come back to base and update my file accordingly, therefore making my data as complete as possible.
