There are a few fundamental flaws with LML diesels, and the biggest one is the fuel pump. The CP4 pump is know for failing and GM is actually being sued over this. It MUST be replaced and upgraded or the entire fuel system will be filled with metal shavings and destroyed. This is a $10,000 - $15,000 repair.
