A guide on Machi, the second boss in Den of the Ancients. Stay closer than 8m or else he'll leap onto you! Attack Rotation: 1. Punch, punch, kick. 2. Half circle (blockable) knocks down. 3. Right spin, left spin, RNG front or back attack (blockable), stuns. 4. Frontal spin attack (unblockable & goes through iframes). CC this. 5. Aoe spin attack (blockable), knocks back. 6. Right spin, left spin, RNG front or back attack (blockable), stuns. 7. Frontal phantom grip (unblockable). 8. Roll attack (unblockable) knocks back. 9. Punch, punch, kick. 10. Faster powerful punch (near half blockable, far half unblockable). 11. Repeats attack cycle. Mechanics: 90% 1. "Machi reinforces Power Struggle" message followed by room wide aoe (unblockable) knocks down. 2. Jumps to the middle and creates shock wave. The shock wave knocks down. 3. 270-degree pizza with 90-degree safe zone. Move counter clock wise - once. 4. Linear attack (unblockable) knocks back. 5. Jumps to one of the circles and creates shock wave. 6. Cone attack (unblockable) knocks back. 7. Jumps away and charges. Block/parry to stun him. Mechanics: 60%30% Similar to 90% phase. Additional 270-degree pizza mechanic after the linear knock back attack step 4 see above. Tips: Getting hit during the pizza phase = bleed stacks. Stay within 8m or closer. Circle tanking him will avoid some attacks. Try not to F roll as it may put you too far away from him. It's easier to iframe the shock wave as it tends to desync.
