Scrapbook Live: Recreating a Retired Trimmer Layout with the CM Border Cutting Tools

In this week's Scrapbook Live, I'm showing you how to take a layout originally created with the retired Creative Memories 12-inch decorative trimmer and recreate it using the Custom Cutting System Border Cutting Tools! The inspiration comes from a May 2022 Power Hour session. I'm using the Crest edge for my demo version — but with four Border Cutting Tool templates and two edges each, you have eight options to work with. I'm encouraging you to pick the edge you like best or one you haven't tried yet and experiment! One key tip before you start: choose a designer paper that has clear contrast between the front and the back, because you'll be using both sides. That visual separation is what makes the design really work. Here's what you'll need: one sheet of designer paper, two sheets of cardstock or tonal paper for your base pages, your 13x13 cutting mat, red and blue Custom Cutting System blades, and a Border Cutting Tool of your choice.
