Shigeki Kiyono / Play-by-Play Announcer Born in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture in 1973. After graduating from Aoyama Gakuin University, he joined Hiroshima FM Broadcasting in 1996. After going independent in 2006, he pursued his childhood dream of becoming a pro wrestling and martial arts commentator. In 2015, he became the first person in history to commentate for the world's three major promotions: New Japan Pro-Wrestling, WWE, and UFC. As a "top runner in the commentary world," he has honed his "commentary art" by presenting commentary as a storytelling art, and actively collaborates with professionals from other industries.
