日本国有鉄道 東北本線 ─ 1985/昭和60年・冬 ─ みちのく路線 シリーズ② 編

Thank you for watching. Below is a video introduction from filmer B. This video was shot on the Tohoku Main Line on February 24, 1985. The original footage was taken between Shirakawa and Kudano. The Shinkansen had opened at this time, but the Omiya-Ueno section had not yet opened, so some express trains remained running on the branch line. Local passenger trains no longer departed Ueno, but trains departing Kuroiso still ran. Footage shows departure from Shirakawa Station at 07:00, the Shirasaka-Shin-Shirakawa section at 07:46, and the Toyohara-Shirasaka section at 09:28. From 10:15, we see the view from the train window between Toyohara, Shirasaka, Shin-Shirakawa, and Shirakawa. The footage was shot nonstop. Please forgive the slightly noticeable wind noise, even after filtering. This footage was shot in 1985 using a Victor GZ-S3 video camera and a Victor HR-S10 portable video deck. #JNR ED75-hauled old passenger train #JNR ED75-hauled freight train #JNR ED75-hauled container train
