My kids have a PS4, and they love it. They've been pushing me to try The Last of Us for years now. Every time, I say no and every time, I tell myself it's because of my Switch backlog. But is that actually the reason? In this video, I dig into the psychology behind console loyalty, why we defend our platform like a sports team, why the first console you ever played tends to stick with you for life, and why Nintendo fans in particular have a pretty solid argument that goes way beyond just blind tribalism.
