2026 Jaecoo J5 1.5T petrol: Detailed review – 0-100 & POV test drive. Up until now, the Jaecoo J5 has only been available as an electric vehicle. This new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol option is available in entry Track and top-spec Summit forms, both with front-wheel drive and a CVT automatic. Fuel consumption on the official combined cycle is 7.5L/100km, which is not that good for this class. Unlike the Chery Tiggo 4, which shares the same platform and engine, this J5 turbo features an independent rear suspension setup compared with the Tiggo's torsion-beam arrangement.
