The Scariest Part of Learning to Ski

In this video(Part 3 of 3 part series)I share the main reason why I travelled to Norway. I set myself a challenge to learn to ski and be able to keep up with my husband who had skied before! Outside of competitive bodybuilding , work and raising my sons, I have not explored new ventures, so as a complete newbie I had plenty reservations, alongside being able to keep up with my husband or risking staying on the baby slope alone for the duration! Many clients are scared to go to the gym, scared they will be unsuccessful at losing weight, or maybe have had to start again after putting weight back on. And many of us stay in life without doing new things or staying stuck in situations because underlyingly we are fearful to fail, ‘feel like a twat’, or of the unknown. This is, how it is for many of us, that’s why I thought it was important to share this video and my journey. Many times, we see a representation of people and think they are confident, all comes easy for them, and they can’t possibly have the same let down feelings and thoughts that hold us back. This is so untrue! But It’s so important to do what scares us, even if we are deeply uncomfortable! If not we stay stuck and being stuck attracts nothing but negative patterns and behaviours.
