"Bluegrass at the Englishtown Music Hall" (1975) was a groundbreaking two-night festival distilled into a one-hour television special, narrated by Geoff Berne, that brought together some of the finest pickers and singers from across the country. The lineup featured Tex Logan (NJ), the Red Clay Ramblers and Greengrass Cloggers (NC), Joe Val & the New England Bluegrass Boys (MA), Louis Popejoy & the Heirs of Bluegrass (IN), Buck White & the Down-Home Folks (TN), the Hotmud Family (OH), Don Stover (MD), Del McCoury & the Dixie Pals (PA), Ted Lundy & the Southern Mountain Boys (DE), along with a special upright bass solo by Cheryl White and twin-fiddling from the Dixie Pals.
