9-Ball: In 1996, two legends of our sport, “Machine Gun” LOU BUTERA, 59, and “Boston Shorty” LARRY JOHNSON, 66, were matched up at the Taco Bell Senior 9-Ball Championships produced by another legend, Steve Mizerak. Hall of Famer Butera was best known as the fastest shooting player during his career. Johnson, a skilled 8-Ball, 9-Ball, and 14.1 player, was best known for his 1-pocket championships in the ‘60’s, as well as being a pro-level 3-Cushion billiard player. His diminutive stature, 5’2”, allowed him to match up with the best providing that he could climb up on the table if he couldn’t reach a shot. This is a rare video. Don’t miss it.
