Aer Lingus Regional ATR 72-600 Sunny Winter Morning Takeoff from Cork to Bristol
(4K, 2025) Aer Lingus Regional (EI-HPK, operated by Emerald Airlines) startup and takeoff from Runway 16 at Cork, Ireland, operating flight EI3840 to Bristol, England, on a beautiful winter morning on the last day of November 2025. Skip to the flight at timestamp 01:55, or skip to the takeoff at timestamp 05:35. This was flight one on my first "aviation day-out" since my last one almost 10-years ago in 2016, when I flew Cork - Southampton - Manchester - Cork, all on turboprop aircraft. This day out was Cork - Bristol - Glasgow - Cork, and the goal was to fly on the two routes to/from Cork Airport served by Aer Lingus Regional ATR 72-600 turboprop aircraft! Its sad that since Covid, these are the only destinations that Aer Lingus Regional serves from Cork with the ATR aircraft - there used to be lots. I couldn't actually make it work on one day, and so I had to overnight at Glasgow Airport. This was my first time on an Aer Lingus ATR 72 since before Covid, and infact my first time also on Aer Lingus Regional operated by Emerald Airlines - the last time I flew them, the ATR flights were operated by Stobart Air. It was great to be back on the wonderful ATR again at Cork Airport and Aer Lingus. Last but not least, this was my first time flying to Bristol! It was a really beautiful but cold morning for it. Some wonderful low-flying views after departure of Crosshaven, Whitegate, and Ballycotton. Out over the sea, we were treated to some very impressive cloud formations! Landing at Bristol coming soon. 00:00 Sunrise at Cork Airport 00:10 Boarding Gate 00:21 Aircraft Arrives Inbound from Bristol 01:55 Pushback and Engine Startup 04:05 Taxi 04:40 Line-up 05:35 Takeoff 06:55 Climb Power 07:10 County Cork South Coast Views 08:00 Crosshaven View 08:45 Whitegate View 09:07 Ballycotton View 09:31 Cruising Views Follow me on Instagram! @byte_travel Date: Friday 19th September 2025 Seat: 10F Scheduled Departure Time: 10:30 Actual Time: 10:41 Flight Time: 59 Minutes Camera: Camera: Google Pixel 9 Pro XL (4K, 30 FPS) Byte Travel Name/Logo: Eimear Kelly (https://www.artstation.com/eimearkelly) Software: Da Vinci Resolve 18
