2026 National Championships All Around Final News Report

The National Championships in Xiamen held the all around final yesterday. Ke Qinqin, who had just led Guangdong to a team gold medal, was golden once again, winning her first all around title at the National Championships. Ke Qinqin, Zhang Yihan, and Zhang Qingying were the top 3 qualifiers going into the all around final. KQQ comes into this competition as the reigning National Games all around champion. Her difficulty on all 4 events are not remarkably high, but her execution allows her to garner high scores. Yesterday, she attempted her highest difficulty on beam, showcasing the results from her winter training. However, she had some broken connections and major wobbles throughout the routine. Her other 3 events went well though, so she captured the title with a score of 54.898. KQQ: I tried to add my switch half on beam, but I get nervous, especially since it's my first time competing it. I was originally supposed to debut this skill at the American Cup a couple of months ago, but since it wasn't very consistent, we decided to save it for this competition. Zhang Qingying from Zhejiang is the 2025 National Championships all around champion. Even though she had some bobbles on beam, her strongest event, she performed well on the other events, winning the silver medal, only 0.399 points behind Ke Qinqin. ZQY: I'm pretty satisfied with my performance overall, but beam didn't go too good today. Actually, the only part that had issues was the middle, since I think I lost my focus and rushed through it. But overall, I feel satisfied. Zhang Yihan's strongest events are vault and floor. Regrettably, she fell on her DTT on vault. However, she performed to her maximum capabilities in the following 3 apparatuses, ending with a bronze medal. ZYH: After I failed on vault, I had to forget what happened and keep going, trying to do my best on everything else. I just have to keep moving forward.
