Finding Grant Creek

In this vlog, I head out on an assignment to photograph the headwaters of Grant Creek for an interpretive sign. My goal was to find the furthest/highest point in the Grant Creek Basin where one could follow a drop of water from its source into Missoula. What I thought - based on topo maps - would be a fairly simple search, turned into a far more complex story, as I followed a series of disappearing springs and a nonexistent lake through three tendrils of the basin. And an FYI, for those of you that have followed 'Autumn Light' the past few years, I'm moving away from branding seasons in favor of just titling episodes based on each trip. This is 'Autumn Light', but just isn't labeled so. Thanks so much for watching!
