After 18 weeks, we arrive at the final chapter of Joshua. Standing at Shechem between Mount Gerizim and Mount Ebal, Joshua gives one final challenge to God's people: Remember what God has done. Choose whom you will serve. But this chapter is more than a call to make a decision. It reveals a deeper problem. Israel had seen God's faithfulness, witnessed His miracles, and received His promises—yet Joshua warns them that they cannot remain faithful in their own strength. The ending of Joshua points us beyond Joshua himself to our need for a greater Savior.
