This time, Saya and Takeshi Hirayama and Masao Sano from Fishing Tackle Bumbum headed off the coast of Kushimoto, Wakayama Prefecture. We were targeting red spotted parrotfish, which lurk at depths of 500-600 meters. This deep-sea fishing requires 6 minutes for the fish to hit the bottom and 15 minutes for reeling. We used Goki G-DIVE 190MH and G-DIVE SS rods and Miyamae COMMAND Z-9 reels. If we manage to catch multiple fish, we'll get to see the "lantern parade," but will we be able to...
