The DARK SIDE of US HISTORY. Continuing our 6-month family road trip through North America in our converted 4x4. We finished our exploration of New Orleans with an amazing park! They really don't do things like we do back home.... We then left Louisiana, passing through Baton Rouge, the state capital, but most importantly, visiting a plantation. Laura Plantation is one of the last Creole plantations in Louisiana. We learned a lot about the lives of the slaves, and it was incredibly moving. Next stop: Texas!!! Yay!!! Our road trip!!
