Marc Lamont Hill & Vlad Debate the Death Penalty in America

Marc Lamont Hill sat down with DJ Vlad to discuss his choice on voting for a third party over the two leading candidates, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. The VH1 Live host cleared up reports that he would vote for Trump telling DJ Vlad that "I'm not afraid of a Trump presidency, I would prefer Jill Stein for president because that's who I'm voting for. My preference isn't for Donald. I hope Donald Trump isn't president." While a registered Democratic voter in Pennsylvania, the Nobody author explained why he decided to overlook the Clinton campaign and decided to vote for an Independent candidate, despite her slim chance to win. "I cannot morally reconcile voting for Hillary Clinton," he said while reiterating to viewers to vote with their conscience. "Killing innocent people abroad through predator drones is a moral non-starter. For me, vicious occupation of Palestine by the state of Israel is a non-starter. For me, supporting the death penalty in any circumstances in this country—given our histrory—is a moral non-starter, and quite frankly, [Hillary's] advocacy for policies from the '90s are moral non-starters."
